Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RankingsTracker (the "Service"), operated by Elevation Labs Consulting ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RankingsTracker is a local search rank-tracking platform for agencies and marketing professionals. It provides geo-grid ranking scans, search keyword tracking, Google Business Profile management tools, and client reporting.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You may invite team members to your account. You are responsible for their use of the Service.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for business purposes.

3. Your API keys

  • The Service operates on a bring-your-own-key model. Rank data is retrieved using your own DataForSEO account, and optional AI features use your own AI provider key. You are responsible for those accounts, their costs, and their providers' terms.
  • Keys you store in the Service are encrypted at rest and used only to perform the operations you request for your account.

4. Subscriptions & billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
  • New accounts start with a free trial. When the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not issue partial refunds for unused time.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your subscription.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the Service's security or another account's data isolation.
  • Do not resell, scrape, or systematically extract the Service itself.
  • Usage must be fair and proportionate to your plan. We may throttle workloads that degrade the Service for other customers, and we'll contact you before taking any stronger action.

6. Your data

Your clients, keywords, scan results, and reports belong to you. We access them only to operate the Service, and we do not sell them or share them with other customers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties including DataForSEO, Google (Maps and Business Profile), Stripe, and AI providers. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Ranking data reflects what third-party data sources report and can vary from what individual users see. We do not guarantee specific ranking outcomes, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

Google Business Profile edits. The Service lets you edit and publish changes to your live Google Business Profile, including the business name, address, phone number, and categories. Google independently reviews such changes, and editing these fields can cause Google to re-verify or temporarily suspend your listing. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish and for ensuring you are authorized to manage the profile. We are not responsible for Google's review decisions, any suspension or loss of visibility, or other consequences of edits you choose to push.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
